New restaurant is on the menu for village
Lal Khazana, in Shilbottle, launched to the public yesterday.
It has created in the region of 20 jobs, with a mix of full and part-time roles and employing people from the village.

Hide AdThe Indian restaurant and bar, located on Deanmoor Road, West End, was formally the Bengal Cottage, but it has undergone a total transformation.
It has reopened under new owners with manager Mohammed Hussain taking charge of the day-to-day running of the restaurant, which offers an extensive menu. On Tuesday evening, the restaurant was officially opened by county councillor Trevor Thorne and invited guests, such as Shilbottle Parish Council, including chairman Tommy Scott, local business people and community members.
