Readers react to Beadnell becoming 70th conservation area in Northumberland
It has been announced that councillors agreed to designate a conservation area in Beadnell, which will see the historic core and the harbour area afforded a higher level of protection – which was made by the county council’s cabinet at a meeting on Tuesday, February 11.
Beadnall will become the 70th conservation area in Northumberland which is a great source of pride for the county. It’s architectural and historic layout were key elements in the decision.
