A MINI version of the Passion play will be presented in Morpeth on Good Friday.
Morpeth Churches Together is organising the special service, which will involve all Christian denominations in the town.
The service will begin at St James’s Church at about 11.30am with a piece depicting the arrest of Jesus, before a procession to the Market Place accompanied by the Salvation Army band.

The Easter story will continue, with music and drama, followed by free refreshments, including hot cross buns.
Minister Mike Willis, from the New Life Christian Centre, said: “The service is for everyone.
“It is going to be something fairly accessible and it will be a family friendly play, telling the Easter story with excerpts from the Passion play.
“Hopefully, the weather will be dry.”
