Bob's calm day at Druridge Bay image wins Rotary photo competition

A range of eye-catching pictures were submitted for this year’s Morpeth Rotary Annual Photographic Contest.

There were an impressive 54 entries in three classes, judged again by Paul Booth of PIXX Media.

Paul is a professional photographer, drone pilot and aerial video and stills specialist.

The overall winner, and winner in the ‘Open’ and ‘Lockdown’ categories, was past president Bob Kendall, who learned some of his skills in the RAF.

The winner of the ‘New Life’ category was Jeff Reynalds with a picture of crocuses at Wallington.

His winning picture for the Rotary Photographic Tankard was of a calm day at Druridge Bay.

Current President Colin Dyson pictured polishing up the Morpeth Rotary Photographic Tankard with the hope of presenting it to Bob at a real, in-person meeting very soon.
