Pegswood firefighters complete Three Peaks Challenge and raise over £2,000 for charity

A group of Northumberland firefighters have completed the Three Peaks Challenge and raised over £2,000 in the process.

Pegswood White Watch scaled the summits of the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in a 24-hour period to raise funds for The Firefighters Charity.

They reached the top of Ben Nevis is 1 hr 56 mins, got to the summit of Scafell Pike at 3.15am and then conquered Snowdon - all in 20 hrs 58 mins.
