I also have a cousin, Robert Frost, who is a Coxswain at Berwick-Upon-Tweed Lifeboat Station and have seen first-hand the voluntary contribution that the crew put in – risking their lives to save someone else's life on the Northumberland coast – when I have been in attendance at incidents as a police officer.
“I take my hat off to all of them.”
Robert said: “I am really proud of my cousin Stuart for raising £786 for the RNLI.
“The money will be put to good use, helping maintain our lifeboats and buying essential Personal Protective Clothing so the crew can continue saving lives at sea.
“Thanks Stuart on behalf of all at Berwick-upon-Tweed Lifeboat Station.”
