Virtual energy savings awareness talk for over 50s in county

Age UK Northumberland is inviting over 50s in the county to sign-up to a free energy savings awareness talk aimed at helping them keep their home warm without breaking the bank.

This is an informal group event that will be delivered by Citizens Advice Northumberland and will discuss easy steps towards making savings on your household energy bills and offer information about ways that you can access additional free services and support.

Amy Whyte, head of charitable services for Age UK Northumberland said: “This event aims to help people become more aware and make savings straightaway – that has to be a positive outcome for any household.

“It’s really quick and easy to register and lots of useful information to gain.”
