Planning bids submitted to county council


The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Hartburn: Mr and Mrs Richard and Susan Cansdale, Farm Shed, Zoe’s Field, prior approval for conversion of agricultural building to residential dwelling and application to create a new medium vehicle use general purpose access road and fence off existing access.

Morpeth: Mr Colin Darroch, 30 Churchburn Drive, Loansdean, erection of external concrete staircase from lounge down to garden level, complete with small balcony and wrought iron balustrade on rear elevation, and alterations to rear elevation; Mr L. Crawford, land north of The Garth, Pottery Bank, screening opinion in relation to residential development at land known as Peacock Gap in Morpeth; Mr and Mrs Willis, 33 Rectory Park, Deuchar Park, proposed construction of bay window to front elevation; Northumberland County Council, Morpeth Town Hall, listed building consent for re-location of existing internal fire alarm panel; Mr Keith Tallentire (Galliford Try), former Morpeth Cottage Hospital, Great North Road (South), Loansdean, full planning submission for 39 new build dwellings on the site – the proposal comprises of 24 houses, one flat over garage and 14 two-bed/three-person apartments.

Ponteland: Mr and Mrs Philip Walton, The Old Rectory, 1 North Road, listed building consent for the addition of a new timber and lead canopy above rear door; Mr Chris Carlington, 27 Middle Drive, Darras Hall, amendment to application 15/00475/FUL – proposed new roof with dormer windows, family room extension and new front wall and gates; Mr and Mrs Fabrizio Saba, 2 Kingsway, Darras Hall, proposed lounge extension; Applicant name not available, 109A Darras Road, Darras Hall, 4m rear single storey extension and pitched roof over; Mr and Mrs Loughead, 8 Parklands, Darras Hall, ground floor extensions to north, south and east elevations and first floor extensions to provide an additional two bedrooms.

Stamfordham: Mr and Mrs Rory Windham, The Beeches, Hawkwell, replace existing pitched roof with new pitched roof, incorporating dormer windows to create loft conversion.

Thirston: Mr and Mrs Les and Paula Ansley, Deerwood, West Thirston Village, proposed conversion of garage, alterations to front elevation doors and windows and alteration of opening on side elevation; Mr David Rodgers, Tanglewood, Kennel Wood, Eshott, removal of five Norway Spruce to allow upward growth of other trees and pruning of up to 15 per cent to an ash tree and a sycamore tree.
