The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Belsay: Laura and Peter De Wesselow, land south of The Old School House, residential development (28 houses) and creation of school car park.

Cresswell: Mr D. Lawrence, The Drift Cafe, proposed extension to existing cafe.

Hepscott: Mr Ian R. Jones, land near Coalburn Farm, proposed replacement of low voltage conductors.

Matfen: Mr I. Howson, land north east of Kearsley Farm (U9016 Lynup Hill Junction to Kearsley Junction towards Kirkheaton), erection of two agricultural buildings.

Mitford: Applicant name not available, reserved matters application relating to planning application 14/02721/OUT for seven executive dwellings (details of layout, scale, appearance and landscaping).

Morpeth: Mr and Mrs Trevor Downing, 4 Ash Banks, Allery Banks, proposed living room extension to front; Mrs J. Knight, 29 Newgate Street, change of use to A3 cafe/tea room and alterations to allow the addition of a new WC and works to provide water and drainage within the proposed kitchen area.

Ponteland: Mr Andrew C. Lawson, 33 West Road, construction of a detached garage with two bedrooms, shower/WC, lounge/diner and kitchen over the structure; Mr Simon Fox, 55 Middle Drive, Darras Hall, demolition of existing bungalow in lieu of new detached two-storey dwelling; Mr Chris Liddell, Carr House, near Berwick Hill, proposed conversion and extension of existing detached garage into private accessible annex; Mrs Alice Tang, land north of Aldersyde, The Avenue, Medburn, detached five-bedroom house and detached double garage; CTIL and Vodafone Ltd, O2 Communications Mast, Ponteland, proposed upgrade to telecommunications radio base station.

Tritlington and West Chevington: Mr Michael Robertson, Peigh Hills Farm, change of use of land to horse riding arena for private use.

Wallington Demesne: Applicant name not available, Haven House, Front Row, Cambo, listed building consent application – alteration to roof structure and ceiling to create slope.

Whalton: Mr and Mrs P. Watson, land north east of East Low House, creation of new access and private road at East Low House as supplemented by a revised Design and Access Statement (received by the council on December 16).

Widdrington Station and Stobswood: Mr and Mrs C. Thompson, The Smithy, Ulgham Park Farm, proposed conversion of existing integral garage into living accommodation and installation of windows.
