The following planning app-lications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Planning applications to go before Northumberland County Council.

East Chevington: Mr John Hay, 76 Station Road, North Broomhill, first floor rear extension proposal to provide additional bathroom and bed-room, toilet extension and gro-und floor rear entrance porch.

Longhorsley: Mr John Thompson, land to north west of Smallburn Farm, construction of a steel portal framed building for storage use; Mr and Mrs Heatherhead, Linden Garden Cottage, proposed demolition of existing entrance lobby and construction of new entrance, garage, first floor master bedroom and en-suite.

Ponteland: Mr Sean Graham, Mill House, West Road, variation of condition 2 (approved plans) in relation to successful appeal APP/P2935/A/14/2220012 (the reference for the refused application is 13/03134/FUL) in order to relocate visitor parking bays; Mr Paul Harrison, 84 Eastern Way, Darras Hall, proposed automated entrance gate and adjacent piers; Mr and Mrs V. Heaney, Plot 6, land north of Delaware House, The Avenue, Medburn, reserved matters application in relation to 15/03558/OUT to approve details of scale, appearance and layout of dwellings and landscaping of site; Mr Drew Paterson, 2 Stonehaugh Way, Darras Hall, two-storey side extension to provide additional kitchen area, utility and garage, with additional bathroom and bedroom with en-suite over; Mr and Mrs Stephen Lee, 130 Darras Road, Darras Hall, proposed demolition of existing property on site and construction of new five-bedroom dormer style bungalow; Mrs Caroline Pilling, 59 North Road, proposed rear single storey extension and two-storey side extension.

Stannington: Bellway Homes Ltd (North East), Hepscott Park, demolition of existing buildings and erection of 89 dwellings (C3 class use), access and landscaping arrangements and associated engineering works.

Thirston: Mr Nigel Jobson, Chapelside House, Eshott Village, Main Road, Eshott, works to trees protected by a tree preservation order – removal of deadwood from a beech tree, a cherry tree and an unknown species tree.

Whalton: Mr Anthony Deas, Hawthorn Cottage, Ogle, removal of existing window within east elevation, provision of fully glazed uPVC door and creation of external LPG store; Mr Darren Smith, West End House, works to a tree in a conservation area – proposed felling of a sycamore tree.
