Planning proposals submitted to county council


The following planning applications have been lodged with Northumberland County Council.

East Chevington: Mr Ian Forsyth, Broomhill Farm, South Broomhill, proposed steel framed agricultural livestock building.

Longhirst: Mr Alan Green, Station House, Station Cottages, outline planning permission, with all matters reserved, is sought for the erection of approximately three residential units as self-build/custom plots.

Longhorsley: Mr and Mrs Andrew Fox, Fellside, West Road, construction of a single storey bathroom, porch and garden room extension to rear.

Morpeth: Mr John Roberts, 11 Thorp Avenue, demolition of existing outhouse and construction of extension to form enlarged kitchen, and addition of conservatory; Mr Peter Wyatt, 7 Olympia Hill, two-storey extension to rear to extend kitchen, dining room and provide utility room and ground floor toilet with new bedroom above; Mr Stephen Hamnett, 46 Stobhill Villas, proposed two-storey extension and alterations by way of demolition of existing garage and kitchen; Rev Roger Mills, 4 The Grove, Kings Avenue, construction of a dining room extension; Mr Peter Smith, 94 Newgate Street, listed building consent application to convert existing Grade II listed building to accommodate 13 self-contained residential apartments, development of five three-bedroom dormer bungalows within former car parking area to also take place.

Ponteland: Mr M. Jackson, Riverside Lodge, 104 Runnymede Road, Darras Hall, proposed extension to provide first floor to dwelling, with additional accommodation.

Thirston: Mr Tony Wells, Oakdale, 4 Burgham Park, pr-oposed part single storey, part two-storey rear extension.
