Plans submitted for approval

The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Belsay: The Belsay Trust, land at Woodhouse, conversion of listed house and adjacent buildings into five dwellings.

East Chevington: Mr Ralph Brown, 9 Chevington Green, Hadston, bedroom extension to second storey above existing single storey utility.

Ellington and Linton: John Coxon and Associates, land north of 19 Till Grove, Ellington, outline application for one dwelling.

Hebron: Mr and Mrs Lee Marley, Farndale, Fairmoor, variation to condition 3 (approved plans) from approval 13/01020/FUL (construction of free-standing detached building to house private hydrotherapy pool and changing facilities).

Mitford: Dr David Colvin, Hillcrest, High House Road, retrospective change of use of land from agricultural to residential garden.

Morpeth: Ms Lucy Sharp, 1A Newgate Street, change of use from B1 office class to A1 retail; Mr B Fourie, 34 Whiteacres, proposed wc, utility, garage and bedroom extension to gable.

Pegswood: Mr EC Harris, 1-2 De Walden Terrace, installation of Bank of Ireland ATM with advertising collar through the glazing to the far left of the main entrance when viewed from outside, backing into an ATC; also advertisement consent for advertising to ATM fascia and collar surround.

Ponteland: Mr Rigg, 18 Woodlands, conservatory to the rear; Mr and Mrs David Shanks, 86 Eastern Way, rear and first floor extension.

Croft Estates, land east of Prospect Farm, The Avenue, Medburn, outline application, construction of detached two storey dwelling; Mr Brian Foreman, 12 Callerton Court, proposed lounge, sun room and kitchen extension and pitched roof to garage.

Mr Mike Barlow, Dalton Village Hall, Medburn, addition of a small external attached store.

Star Pubs, The Seven Stars, 21 Main Street, advertisement consent for the erection of illuminated and non-illuminated signs to the exterior of the building; also Listed Building Consent.

Mr and Mrs Jagannath, 4 The Drey, proposed extension to form family room.

Mr Ray Black, 68 Eastern Way, ground floor extension and new roof with dormer windows to form first floor bedrooms and bathrooms.

Stannington: Mr Dave Hepton, Stannington First School, Church Road, erection of mobile classroom within school grounds.

Netherton Park Trustees, land north east of Netherton Park, outline permission for re-development of site for up to 85 residential dwellings, with all matters reserved except access.

Wallington Demesne: The National Trust, Wallington, proposed new drains will be inserted around the perimeter of Wallington House, but with no encroachment into or onto the fabric of the building, and will connect to a replacement for an existing drain, which runs across The Park to the River Wansbeck to the south of the site; also Listed Building Consent.
