The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Longhirst: Mr Andrew Forman, 7 Longhirst Village, Listed Building Consent, single storey extension, replacement sash windows, replacement front door and rebuilding of chimney stack.

Lynemouth: Mr Richard Anderson, Alcan Smelting and Power UK, demolition of steel-framed, aluminium-clad structures and ductwork associated with the former aluminium production process, including the eight concrete chimney stacks, concrete footings and associated building blockwork, demolition will be to slab level.

Morpeth: Mr E Hillier, 13 The Avenue, Loansdean, bedroom extension to gable.

Pegswood: Environ Property Partners, former Ex-Service Sports and Social Club, Main Street, demolition of former ex-service sports and social club and erection of retail store, including associated parking, landscaping, access and new pedestrian access to synthetic sports pitch.

Ponteland: Ms Barbara Ellis, The Smithyside, 7 Bell Villas, advertisement consent for two hanging signs; Mrs Laura Ruxton, Penny Hill Cottage, certificate of lawfulness for an existing use of Pennyhill Cottage and adjacent outbuilding as residential having been used as such for more than four years.

Stannington: Miss Claire Reed, Plessey Hall Farm Viaduct, Shotton Lane, Listed Building Consent, installation of stitching bars through the pre-cast concrete parapet walkway units to stabilise them.
