The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Acklington: Mr and Mrs Coombes, Brainshaugh Steading, Listed Building Consent for the creation of two holiday cottages from existing farm steadings; Mr and Mrs Coombes, 2 and 3 Brainshaugh Farm Cottages, variation of condition 2 of permission 13/02461/FUL (demolition of cottages 2 and 3, replaced with four bed dwelling and detached double garage, new vehicular access and associated hard and soft landscaping), amendment relates to reduction of width of double garage, repositioning of garage and site access.

Cresswell: Ms Irene Anderson, land east of The Keepers Cottage, installation of single wood pole at approx 11m in height.

Longhorsley: Mr John Thompson, land north west of Smallburn Farm, portal framed agricultural building to store manure extension to existing agricultural building.

Matfen: Mr and Mrs Maier, East Wallhouses Farmhouse, removal of bay windows, construction of a larger front porch and an outbuilding to house a wood pellet boiler.

Morpeth: Mr Gino Gregorio, 13 Station Cottages, two storey side extension to form sitting room at ground floor and bedroom accommodation at first floor.

Ponteland: Star Pubs and Bars, The Seven Stars, 21 Main Street, Listed Building Consent, refurbishment scheme to public house to include new floor finishes, decorations, new lighting, introduction of fixed seating bays, new upper section of bar backfitting, internal screens and feature walls, retention of existing fire surrounds and upgrade works to toilet facilities, new external signage and lighting by others under separate application; Mr Darren Taylor, 26 Pembroke Drive, Darras Hall, extension to rear to provide kitchen; Mr Gary Houghton, Primrose Lodge, Dissington Lane, conversion of garage to form retirement bungalow; Mr K Nayyar, 153 Western Way, demolition of side garage and store and construction of two storey side extension, removal of dormer to front and replacement with two new dormer windows and porch extension, construction of two storey extension to rear and removal of rear chimney, associated external works and new vehicular access (re-submission of approved application CM/20110136); Mr Les Whitfield, 161 Western Way, single and two storey extension at front.

Thirston: Mrs Helen Telfor, The Limes, The Pipistrelles, Eshott, Tree Preservation Order application to pollard two lime trees to 20ft.

Ulgham: Mr William Emery, Gled Law and Ivy Cottage, conversion of two cottages to single dwelling, including bedroom extension, porch and internal alterations; Mr Glen Green, 13 Forge Estate, convert conservatory into dining kitchen, re-roof and rebuild external wall.
