The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Belsay: Mrs Laura De Wesselow, land south of Belsay Village, change of use of agricultural land to green burial ground, car park and construction of shelter building.

Cresswell: Mr G Wild, The Cottage, conversion of garage to study with bedroom above.

Heddon On The Wall: Mrs A Wilson, Heddon Hall, proposal for the erection of double-height glazed porch with roof lantern and pitched roof glazing enclosing north entrance, re-construction of random stone retaining wall surrounding north elevation of former caretaker’s wing.

Longhirst: Mr Andrew Foreman, 7 Longhirst Village, reinstatement of internal stone and block work to rear wall following demolition of original wall and installation of re-designed aluminium windows to rear extension; also Listed Building Consent.

Mitford: Mr Anthony Noon, 4 Old Sawmill, retrospective permission for decking, propose to reduce the size of existing decking.

Morpeth: Mr Ian Fish, 11 The Pastures, Kirkhill, extension to semi-detached property forming double garage; Mr Jon-Paul Owen, 61 Newgate Street, conversion and alteration of offices to single dwelling on three levels with additional accommodation in the roof space; also Listed Building Consent; Mr John Ollerton, Castle Villa, Castle Walk, proposed two storey extension to rear of property consisting of enlarged living room on ground floor and en-suite bathroom on first floor; Mr Alan Hardiman, 32 Thorp Avenue, single storey side extension and single and two storey rear extensions; Mr John Grenfell, 12 Manchester Street, proposed internal and external works to property and change of use from A2 to C3 on first floor only; Mr James Brown, 18 Pinewood Drive, Lancaster Park, alteration and extensions to include garage extension and family room to side, with bedrooms and en-suites above, and dining room and kitchen extension to rear.

Stannington: Mr Malcolm Follos, 32 Green Close, Certificate of Lawfulness of proposed single storey rear extension.

Ulgham: Mr Nick Harper, land north of Branstone, outline application for development of one two storey, four-bedroom residential dwelling, vehicle and pedestrian access to be from Woodlands, Ulgham (all matters reserved).
