CONCERNED constituents can raise issues direct with their MP as an annual surgery tour begins.
Sir Alan Beith usually visits communities across his massive Berwick upon Tweed constituency every autumn, but this year the tour is beginning in the summer due to a change in timetable at the House of Commons.
The first surgeries in the former Castle Morpeth borough will be held on Monday. The times are: 9.45am, Stobswood, Grangewood Terrace; 10.10am, Widdrington Station Library Car Park, Grange Road; 10.45am, Ulgham, The Forge; 11.15am, Linton Post Office; 11.45am: Ellington, The Plough Inn; 1.30pm, Lynemouth Market Square; 2pm, Cresswell Village Hall; 2.20pm: Widdrington Village, The Widdrington Inn; 2.40pm, Red Row, opposite Hebron Hall.
On Thursday, August 30, the tour will include Acklington and Guyzance.
Sir Alan will visit Eshott, Tritlington, Longhorsley and Wingates on Tuesday, October 9, and Cambo, Scots Gap, Belsay, Bolam, Middleton, High Angerton, Hartburn, Meldon and Netherwitton on Thursday, October 11.
No appointments are needed, but residents may wish to take any documents relating to their concerns.
