The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Belsay: Mrs Fiona Neilson, 13 The Arcade, listed building consent – retrospective application for insertion of a Velux rooflight; Miss Terri Crosby, East Wing, Bolam Hall, listed building consent – proposed stone gate piers to match existing stone piers and new iron gates to match the entrance gates to Bolam Hall.

East Chevington: Mr and Mrs Peter Carnaffin, The Willows, road from junction Market Place to A1068, Red Row, two-storey side extension with single storey extension to front and rear and relocated drive entrance.

Hepscott: Mr John Muckian, 2 The Orchard, two-storey side extension.

Longhirst: Mr Stephen Cowell, Longhirst Hall, tree preservation order application to carry out various works in accordance with the Tree Management Plan.

Morpeth: Mr Ian Smurthwaite, 5 Ghyll Edge, Lancaster Park, application to build an extension above a double garage comprising of an en-suite bathroom, walk in wardrobe, bedroom and balcony to the rear; Northumberland Care Trust, Merley Croft, Queen Elizabeth Avenue, Loansdean, tree preservation order application to fell Holm Oak tree, which leans at 40 degrees from vertical over the car parking area.

Ponteland: Ms Joanne Scougall, 9 Callerton Court, Darras Hall, erection of an extension to rear of dwelling – part two-storey and part single storey; Mr Malcolm Sym, 1 and 2 Smithy Cottages, Milbourne, proposed demolition of two semi-detached cottages and building of two detached houses.

Stamfordham: Mr Ross Linney, Ivy Cottage, Dalton, construction of a two-storey rear extension and sun room to the front of the dwelling.
