Range of planning proposals lodged with county council


The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

East Chevington: Mr David Adams, 9 The Dunes, Hadston, proposed single storey extension to rear.

Longhirst: Mr Stephen Cowell, Cricket Pavilion, Longhirst Hall, demolition of the pavilion and construction of a new private residence.

Longhorsley: Mr J. Bell, land east of Normandy Terrace, East Road, reserved matters application for access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale of outline permission 12/03472/OUT – proposed residential development for approximately 12 dwellings.

Morpeth: Mr & Mrs Dan and Vikki Stuart, 46 Churchburn Drive, Loansdean, proposed demolition of existing side extension and construction of new two-storey side extension; removal of flat roof and construction of new pitched roof over garage.

Pegswood: Mr Charles Sample, Climbing Tree Farm, Climbing Tree Farm and Cottages, proposed general purpose and stock building.

Ponteland: Mrs Linda Jackson, 3 Callerton Hall Cottages, High Callerton, construction of new sandstone porch (approximately 2.7m x 2.3m) to the rear of the existing property; Mr John O’Neill, The Pines, The Avenue, Medburn, outline application for the development of two detached residential properties with primary access from The Avenue, with all other matters reserved; Mr and Mrs D. Stangroom, 136 Edge Hill, Darras Hall, proposed rear extension to form kitchen and family room, new roof (7m) to create first floor to form bedrooms and extension to single garage to form double garage.

Stannington: Nichola Miller, land at Moor Farm Estate, Station Road, outline application for the re-development of a site formerly used for the storage and distribution of cars to a residential development of 12 dwellings (all matters reserved).

Ulgham: Mr Chris Grove, The Cockles Farmhouse, change of use from office with two bedrooms and bathroom to holiday let (previous application reference CM/95/D/32).

Whalton: Mr William Walton, farm building at Ogle Castle Farm, Ogle, three bay extension onto existing Farmplan building and monopitch lean-to connecting onto existing Atcost building.
