Range of planning proposals lodged with county council
The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.
Belsay: Mr Searro, Swallow Barn, U9014 Coal Burn junction to Harnham junction, proposed conservatory to the rear.
Heddon on the Wall: Mrs Rebecca Hughes, 1 Aquila Drive, single storey extension to side creating new kitchen and play room, with loft conversion for two new bedrooms and en-suite facilities.
Matfen: Mr Ian Howson, Causeway House, Ingoe, variation of condition 8 (occupied by an agricultural worker) pursuant to planning permission 01/D/182.
Meldon: Mr and Mrs Thorne, Nunriding Hall, retrospective permission for minor alterations and additions including lighting, wood store and alterations to the driveway – also conversion of loft space to accommodation, including insertion of six conservation style roof lights.
Mitford: Sarah Christie, Site 2, Seaton Ryde, Eastgate junction to Tranwell Woods, tree preservation order application – felling works to four birch trees and one rowan tree, and remove deadwood from one oak tree and one willow tree.
Ponteland: Mr Peter Deans, 4 Queensway, Darras Hall, proposed ground floor family room extension and first floor bedroom extension; Mr Scott Savin, 98 Western Way, Darras Hall, proposal to demolish the existing property on the site and replace it with a new build two-storey five bedroom family home – the new build property will be primarily built on the same footprint as the existing bungalow, but with minor extensions to the south elevation (side) and the west elevation (rear); Mr Steven Lawrenson, The Dairy, High Callerton, proposed stable, feed store and cart store; Mr Michael Proud, 1-3 Brewery Lane (Branches Restaurant), retrospective advertisement consent for built-up distressed copper lettering internally illuminated with LED modules, also an illuminated projection sign with steel bracket and timber panel with copper insert; Mrs Catherine Robson, Old Plant Yard, Prestwick, construction of new dwelling with garage.
Ulgham: Mr John Ross, 6 The Croft, proposed first floor extension situated above existing garage and refurbishment of existing bedrooms.
