Range of planning proposals lodged with county council
The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.
Belsay: Mrs Angela Renwick, Nunhill, West Barn, proposed double garage adjacent to existing dwelling.
Longhirst: Applicant name not available, Longhirst Hall, listed building consent application – restore Coach House to a two-bedroomed dwelling.
Morpeth: Mr and Mrs Mark & Carol Brackwell, 23 Whinham Way, Stobhill Farm, proposed single storey extension to the side of existing dwelling.
Ponteland: Mr and Mrs Simon Griffiths, 11 Linden Way, Darras Hall, proposal for the restructuring of a new roof to allow for use of space at first floor (i.e. conversion from bungalow to dormer bungalow), increase of ridge height overall by 40cm to a maximum of 7m (existing 6.6m), reduction of eaves on south side to reduce impact of elevation on neighbouring property, works that involve garden room corners being squared off and new timber gate to end of driveway; Mr and Mrs Higgins, Auberne, Callerton Lane, demolition of the existing two-storey dormer dwelling house and erection of a new two-storey dwelling house with associated parking and garage; Mr John Harris, 204 Western Way, Darras Hall, outline application – proposed replacement dwelling (8.5m ridge height);
Stannington: Mr Brian Stanger-Leathes, 43 Station Road, two-storey side extension and single storey extension to rear.
Thirston: Mr David Sunderland, Longdyke Caravan Park, removal of conditions 6 (caravan occupation no longer than nine months) and 8 (no occupation between January 31 and March 1) from approved application CM/20080164; Mr David Sunderland, Bockenfield Country Park, removal of conditions 5 (occupancy) and 7 (occupancy) pursuant to planning permission CM/20090496 to allow the accommodation to be occupied during 52 weeks of the year.
Whalton: Mr Peter Dodds, land south of How Burn Bridge, proposed general purpose use agricultural building.
