The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Planning applications to go before Northumberland County Council.

Cresswell: Mr Duncan Lawrence, The Drift Cafe (cafe and bookshop), The Drift, proposed new car park adjacent to The Drift Cafe with new carriage crossing, new external seating area and 1,000m-wide access/maintenance strip.

Heddon on the Wall: Mr Tyldesley, The Swan Inn, The Towne Gate, advertisement consent for one externally illuminated hanging sign, four externally illuminated sets of letters and two lanterns.

Hepscott: Mr Chris Jeffs, 11 The Orchard, proposed demolition of conservatory and construction of garden room; Mr Philip Lamb, Orchard House, 1 South Lodge Wood, tree preservation order application – reduce the longer limbs of two larch trees to within two metres of the main bole and fell two maple trees, two Scots pine trees, five larch trees and one sycamore tree.

Morpeth: Mrs Nicola Willis, 33 Rectory Park, Deuchar Park, retrospective application – construction of bay window to front elevation (re-submission of 15/02760/FUL); Mr Michael Greveson, Wansbeck House, Dogger Bank, tree preservation order application – removal of lowest west facing branch of one of the trees to rebalance this tree; Pets at Home, Unit 2, Stanley Terrace, advertisement consent for new retail signage to comprise of four internally illuminated signs, one set of vinyl ‘paws’ to glazing, one set of poster frames and one ‘deliveries’ panel.

Ponteland: Mr Rod Purvis, 180 Western Way, Darras Hall, extension and conversion of dwelling; Mr Richard Hutchinson, Clickemin Farm Cottage, Clickemin, steel framed mono-pitch lean-to agricultural building; Mr and Mrs Snaith, land west of Meadow Court House, Runnymede Road, Darras Hall, variation of condition 2 (approved plans) pursuant to planning permission 15/01474/FUL in order to allow changes for the inclusion of a new private access to Plot 1.

Mr and Mrs Parnell, 14 Ridgely Drive, certificate of lawful development for a proposed single storey rear extension and alterations to doors/windows to existing rear extension; Mrs Carden, 149 Eastern Way, Darras Hall, proposed single storey extension to the rear.
