Range of planning proposals lodged with county council
The following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.
Belsay: Mr Richard Leiper, land north east of Black Heddon Farm, construction of agricultural storage building.
Heddon on the Wall: Mr and Mrs Arthur Watson, 11A Station Road, construction of ground floor extension to rear of property.
Ponteland: Mr and Mrs Warren Williams, 50 Parklands, Darras Hall, proposed extension to single garage to form double, utility room extension, lounge extension and new roof to form seven-metre high dormer bungalow; Mr and Mrs Simon Williams, 109 Darras Road, Darras Hall, proposed extension of rear dormer and increased ridge height to front projecting gable on principal elevation; Mr Andrew Lawson, 33 West Road, tree preservation order application – crown lift Beech tree to five metres and rebalance/reshape crown to improve appearance and crown lift Horse Chestnut tree to five metres; Mr Darren Lawton, 47 Woodside, Darras Hall, proposed extension of garage and lounge at front with bedrooms over, new roof with velux windows, demolition of car port and conservatory; Mr Paul Fairley, land north of Burnlea, The Avenue, Medburn, proposed erection of one dwelling and attached double garage;
Stamfordham: Northumbrian Water Ltd, Whittle Dene Treatment Works (track from Military Road to the treatment works), Harlow Hill, proposed erection of a new kiosk at the site measuring approximately 13mx4.2mx4.14m.
Wallington Demesne: Mr Simon Abbott, The Joinery, Wallington Courtyard, Wallington, listed building consent application for the removal of existing stone surround and hearth to fireplace with infill to expose original structural opening in chimney breast, lining of recess and new hearth with terracotta tiles, replace new log burning stove with rigid stove enamelled flue pipe to connect behind lintol, with stainless steel flexible flue liner rising to top of chimney stack.
