RELATIVES of Emily Wilding Davison were given a special tour of her parents’ former Morpeth home.

Family members from across the globe came together at Winton House in Dacre Street at the end of the Emily Inspires 100th anniversary commemorations to see where the Suffragette’s parents Charles and Margaret lived before she was born.

The group was shown around the property, which is now the Masonic Hall, by relation Gordon Shaw, who told them about its history. They then sat down for a meal together before travelling back to their homes across the UK and abroad.
