FORMER miners can meet up with old pals in a reunion next week.
The event will bring together former colleagues from Woodhorn Colliery, which operated for more than 80 years.
At its peak almost 2,000 men worked at the pit, producing 600,000 tonnes of coal each year.
The reunion will take place at Woodhorn Museum and is for both miners and surface workers from the pit.
It will be held on Friday, September 27. Anyone interested in attending can reserve a place by calling 07984 295361.
