Round-up of the latest county council applications for planning permission

THE following planning applications have been submitted to Northumberland County Council.

Acklington: Mr C Glen, 1 Cheeveley Steading, non-material amendment to 11/01740/FUL, demolition and salvage of stone and slates from two rear extensions, construction of 1.5 storey extension to rear and erection of 1.8m fence on north west boundary to neighbouring property as amended by plans and bat survey.

Belsay: Mr Michael Jeffrey, Boat House Wood and Low House Wood car parks, Bolam Lake Country Park, improvements to the surface of two existing car parks at Bolam Lake Country Park, the works will involve partially overlaying the existing sub-base surface with a 60mm depth of asphalt concrete, the overlay will be applied to the more heavily trafficed part of the surface of the car park that is used to gain vehicular access to the parking bays, the bays themselves will not be overlaid and will remain as the existing crushed stone sub-base surface.

Heddon On The Wall: Mr Alan Graham, Close House Golf Club, Close House, retrospective, construction of extensions to the upper and lower ground floor external dining areas on the western elevations of Close House Golf Club Club House.

Hepscott: Mrs P Sawyer, Rosden, non-material amendment relating to planning permission CM/20090410, alterations and extension to existing cottage.

Longhirst: Mr and Mrs Anderson, land east of Village Hall, construction of two detached four bed dwellings, two detached garage blocks, new vehicular access directly off the B1337 highway, blocking up of two existing accesses, associated hard and soft landscaping throughout.

Matfen: Mrs Freda Johnson, Butcher Hill Farm, conversion of a stable now used as a store into a one bedroom, single storey dwelling and erection of a garage block with office/studio accommodation over.

Mitford: Mr T Geoghegan, Kylemore House, Tranwell Woods, outline planning permission for one dwelling.

Morpeth: Michael Jeffrey, Scotch Gill Wood car park, Mitford Road, improvements to the surface of Scotch Gill Woods car park and access road, the works will involve overlaying the existing sub-base surface of the car park and the access road off the B6343 near Low Ford Bridge with a 60mm depth of asphalt concrete, the overlay will be applied to access road into the car park and to surface of the car park itself, there will be no changes to the number or layout of the parking spaces.

Nunnykirk: Mr and Mrs Ord, land south east of Ewesley Quarry, Netherwitton, steel portal framed stock building measuring 27.45m long x 10.675m wide x 4.2m height to eaves.

Pegswood: Mrs Sylvia Johnson, Butterwell Cottage, Hebron, outline, construction of bungalow and detached double garage.

Ponteland: Miss Sarah Eddy, Ponteland Dental Practice, 25 Main Street, Listed Building Consent, replacing signage on shop; also re-submission for advertisement consent, installation of two internally illuminated fascia signs; Mr and Mrs Peter and Lucy Blaylock, Mill Farm, Milbourne, extension to rear of farm house to provide living and bedroom accommodation; Mr Tim Davies, Darras Hall Dental Practice, Broadway, Darras Hall, advertisement consent, installation of one internally illuminated post sign; Mr G Strettle, Strettle Funeral Directors, 15 West Road, retrospective, advertisement consent to display one non-illuminated fascia sign and one externally illuminated fascia sign on the east and west gable elevations of the building; Mr Karl Hannant, 138 Eastern Way, rear ground floor sun room extension and new bedroom over existing garage; Mr David Atkinson, Mill House, West Road, variation of condition 2 relating to planning permission 11/01399/FUL, demolition of existing office building and construction of seven new dwellings.

Stamfordham: Mr Kevin Laing, Bay Horse Inn, Southside, Listed Building Consent for internal alterations to ground floor and second floor.

Thirston: Felmoor Park Ltd, Felmoor Holiday Park, Felton, siting of 58 holiday lodges, 13 touring pitches, accommodation block, utility/toilet block, caravan storage and maintenance area and ten camping pods/micro lodges; Mr W N Picken, Tanglewood, Kennel Wood, Eshott, non-material amendment to 11/03099/FUL, two storey rear extension.

Wallington Demesne: Mr and Mrs A Waddell, Middleton Hall, Middleton, two stables and open fronted store for housing of pony, horse and fodder.

Whalton: Mr T Norton, The Manor House, hornbeam, fell due to proximity and damage to the wall.
