A MORPETH charity shop has issued an appeal for more stock.
Since its clothing and book banks were removed from council-run recycling sites in Ponteland and Morpeth, the British Hearth Foundation has suffered a shortage of stock.
Now it is appealing for local residents to come forward with donations to help plug the gap, with calls for clothing, handbags, accessories, books, DVDs, CDs, bric-a-brac and toys.
Donations can be taken into the Bridge Street store or collections can be arranged.
The charity is also asking businesses to get in touch if they can provide space on their premises for clothing or book banks.
To arrange collection of donated stock, or to offer a bank site, call 01670 511804.
