It is hoped that the event will raise funds for outdoor equipment for the school.
Organised by the Friends of Stobhillgate First School and sponsored by Bristol Street Motors, the event, which is taking place on Saturday, looks set to be its biggest to date.
Relying heavily on good weather, there will be activities such as a surf simulator and barbecue, all outside.
Other activities include an inflatable assault course, hula-hooping for all ages and Animalantics Roadshow, which has been a massive hit with children in the past.
Friends group member Helen Parkinson said: “It’s the biggest fair we do over the school year and is an annual event to raise extra funds for the school.
“The school, at the minute, is really trying to improve on its outdoor facilities so we’re trying to help with that.
“A lot of activities are weather dependant — we’ve got someone coming to do hula-hoop for children and adults and the Ellington Colliery Band is coming to play.
“The day has kindly been sponsored by Bristol Street Motors and they’ve been really helpful with funding the day, which will make it easier to raise some money.”
The event starts at 1pm at the school, weather permitting. For further information contact the school on 01670 513382.
