PROJECTS for older people across the North East could be in line for a lottery win.
The Big Lottery Fund has announced a £110million package of funding for older people’s projects between 2012 and 2015.
And for the first tranche, the £10m Silver Dreams Fund, it is inviting applications for schemes that help older people manage life-changing events and encourage them to have more involvement in the community.
Up to 30 projects will receive between £50,000 and £200,000 to test their ideas and five will then be handed up to £1million to develop them further.
Groups have until Friday, October 28 to submit their outline ideas. For more information visit www.biglotteryfund.org.uk
