Snow warning for Northumberland this weekend
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for the icy showers, which are set to move south from Scotland.during tomorrow (Saturday) night.
The Chief Forecaster said: "Further accumulations of snow are expected over south-eastern Scotland with this snow extending into parts of north-east England during Sunday morning. A further 2cm to 4cm of snow is possible at lower levels, mainly away from the immediate coastal strip, with 5cm to 10cm above 200m and perhaps as much as 15cm on the highest routes above 300m."
