A range of activities enabled the Morpeth branch of Marks & Spencer (M&S) to raise £3,216.14 for the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).

It was the store’s charity for the year after receiving the most votes among the staff.

The activities included bag packs, cake bakes and raffles in store and an event at Morpeth Comrades Club that featured bingo, a quiz and a raffle.
