Guests and visitors enjoyed a special street party at Taylor Wimpey North East’s St Andrews Gardens housing development in Morpeth.

The occasion gave local people and homeowners at the scheme the opportunity to come together to get to know one another and for prospective buyers a glimpse of what life could be like living on the development.

Visitors were served up a selection of refreshments, including a BBQ and mobile café bar, as well as taking in the traditional street party spirit, complete with bunting and ice creams.

Karl Morton, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North East, said: “Street parties have been bringing communities together for years and the one at St Andrews Gardens was no different. This was a special, fun-filled afternoon and it was a pleasure to bring everybody together.

“We understand that a house is so much more than just bricks and mortar, it’s where you want to grow your family and make memories, and we hope that our street party helped our growing community get to know each other even better.”

The scheme was launched in June 2015 after it received planning permission in November 2014.
