TRAIN timetables in Northumberland will be changing from Sunday.
Following amendments to services on the East Coast Main Line to improve journey times to and from London, local routes will also have to change.
Northern Rail says trains between Morpeth and the Metrocentre will run at a more regular pattern, with more stops at Manors, while the last train from Newcastle will depart later, at 10pm Mondays to Fridays.
However, as the Herald reported last week, there have been concerns that the popular 8.32am service from Morpeth to Newcastle will now run later at 8.49am.
