Police appeal after crash

POLICE are seeking information from the public after a crash near Hadston.

A tipper lorry carrying a mini-dumper was travelling northbound at 2.46pm on Wednesday, February 16 on the A1068 half a mile north of the Hadston Road junction when, for reasons yet to be established, the trailer jack knifed.

The mini-dumper fell off the back and hit a Rover 45 that was travelling southbound.

The road was closed for four hours to allow for the vehicles to be recovered. Neither driver was seriously injured.

Police are asking that anyone who saw the truck before the crash gets in contact with Motor Patrol officers on 03456 043043, ext 61374.
