In the picture are her husband Peter, daughters Becki and Jo, son Josh and grandchildren Jessica and Chloe, along with two of the winners, Kathy Banerji and Jo Lormor (Margaret Andrew and Azhar Mahmood were absent).

Tessa was a long-serving member of Castle Morpeth, one of two bridge clubs in the town, and she introduced many students to the game through her teaching with Morpeth Bridge for All.

Club chairman Mike Craig said: “She is very much missed and this new trophy will keep her memory alive.”
