There was a good turnout for this year’s Longhorsley Village Day.
Pictured are the group of winners from the pet show, which was sponsored by the Robson and Prescott Veterinary Surgery in Morpeth.
Other awards were handed out on the day – including best kept garden and best allotment – and the attractions included a double slide and bouncy disco, emergency services vehicles, stalls, games, a putting competition and music from the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers’ Cadet band.
Children from Longhorsley First School also performed, accompanied by Peter Brown from the Alnwick Choral Society.
The Industrial section is a traditional part of Longhorsley Village Day where residents have the opportunity to show the products of their skills and hard work, whilst sharing and enjoying examples of others’ work and being inspired by the efforts of others.
This year, there were 195 exhibits from 63 exhibitors.
