Warning after medication stolen from Northumberland

Police are appealing for information after medication was stolen from a car in Morpeth.

The car was parked in Jobling Crescent when it was broken into sometime between 5pm on Sunday, July 5, and 8.20am on Monday, July 6.

Codeine Phosphate, Omeprazole, Etoricoxib, Stemtil and Sertaline medication was stolen and officers are reminding people of the dangers of taking medication that has not been prescribed to them.

Other items stolen include a white Samsung mobile phone, pink Tesco computer table, 3 CDs, headphones, a tool kit and Oakley sunglasses.

Officers are carrying out enquiries into the theft and asking anyone who has information about the break-in, or the whereabouts of the stolen property, to come forward.
