The Met Office says tomorrow, Friday, July 31, will be a hot one, with temperatures as high as 21C – that’s 70F.

But you’ll need to make the most of it – the outlook for the weekend is less appetising.

Friday’s forecast is for prolonged periods of sunshine and turning hot for many and increasingly humid later. The odd heavy shower may develop in the south of the region by the evening. But Saturday will be much fresher with sunny spells and a few showers, mainly on Saturday night and the weather could turn wetter and windier during Monday.
