LANDLUBBERS had better beware after a pirate invasion hit a Morpeth school.
There were plenty of pirates on parade at All Saints First School last week to round off a bumper half-term of buccaneers.
Pupils in the Year 1 class have been learning all about pirates, including taking part in weekly online interactive sessions, inviting parents into the classroom for pirate-themed activities and making special cakes.
There was even a search for hidden loot in a treasure hunt around the Lancaster Park school, and a trip to the Treasure Island adventure play centre in Coopies Lane.
The learning fun culminated in a dress-up day last Thursday, and even the teachers joined in.
