WINDFARM campaigners are gearing up for another battle as appeal dates are set for a Fenrother application.
Plans for a five-turbine scheme in the hamlet were turned down unanimously by Northumberland County Council’s Planning and Environment Committee in January.
But applicant Energiekontor UK has appealed the decision and now an independent planning inspector will examine the case.
The hearing has been scheduled to take place in Morpeth Town Hall from August 28 to 30 and September 2 to 4.
When the proposal was submitted 1,647 letters of objection were received – the highest number of any application in Northumberland, while 784 were submitted in support.
