Young writers could see work on film

Young writers across the North East are being urged to enter a competition which could see their work made into a feature film and win £500 for their school.

North Tyneside film company ACT 2 CAM is accepting pitches for a 60-minute feature film, which will be performed by a cast of actors aged 11-16.

The winner will be invited to develop their idea into a screenplay with our writing team. The winner’s school will also receive £500.

The film is set to premiere at the Odeon Silverlink, before being released onto DVD and entered into film festivals worldwide.
