CUTS: Targeting the poor is not on

I’m writing to let you know that Anne-Marie Trevelyan, the Conservative MP for Berwick, is backing George Osborne’s tax cuts and voted with him, even though, as stated by a fellow Tory MP, it does not stand up to the Conservatives’ own family test.

I wonder if she realises how many of her constituents will suffer because of these cuts.

Their argument of upping the living wage doesn’t cut it when they are making the cuts prior to the increase in wages.

Taking from the poorest to give to the richest is not on.

We can see their lack of passion for the working people by their lack of effort with all the steel plant closures, yet giving contracts to China to build nuclear power plants.
