EUROPE: Why would it be so rosy?

I read with interest the views of “name and address supplied” on leaving the European Union, (Morpeth Herald, March 10).

I am intrigued by the supreme arrogance of the ‘In campaign’ and their absolute conviction that we will be better staying in the increasingly fractured EU, with the failure among its members to agree on common topics. What makes them so sure that all will be rosy if we stay in?

It is becoming increasingly obvious that attitudes like this are driving more people, including me, to the out camp.

If “name and address supplied” is so convinced of these views, surely he/she should be prepared to be identified.
