FALL: Kindness is reassuring

editorial image

I would like to take the opportunity to thank the various people who came to my aid when I had a nasty fall on the footpath between Morrison’s and the 4th Morpeth Scout Hut on Tuesday, May 24.

Unfortunately, I do not know any of their names, but hope that they, or someone they know, may read this letter.

I particularly want to thank the cyclist who found me immediately after my fall and who called an ambulance and informed my husband.

I would also like to mention the staff from Morrisons, the police officers and the paramedics who came to my aid.

It is certainly very reassuring to know that there are so many kind and caring people in our local community.
