PARKING: Not on the grass please

editorial image

For many years, I have been lucky enough to live in Kirkhill and one of the great assets of this estate is the grassy areas, both large and small.

They are special places for our young people to play, our elderly to sit, and they add character to the whole place.

Our council does an excellent job of cutting the grass, weeding the flagstones and generally keeping the trees in order.

However, recently I have noticed a tendency to park cars on some of these greens and the overall effect of this is most unpleasant.

Please can I appeal to drivers to leave our grassy areas alone?
