My wife and I have been regular – every month – visitors to Morpeth for some 20 years.
Three months ago my wife tripped and fell and in April I too succumbed to gravity.
On both occasions, several passers-by stopped to offer assistance.
Fortunately there were no major injuries.
Two months ago I lost my wallet in Morpeth which was found by a young American working for a Christian organisation in the town.
After making some searches to trace me in Morpeth, he handed the wallet to a policeman.
The wallet was eventually returned to me intact.
This letter is simply to record, publicly, our thanks to the various individuals ‘who didn’t pass by on the other side’.
A and M Wright,
