Miracle Workers, Mrs Fletcher and The Righteous Gemstones are just some of the brand new acclaimed comedies coming to the channel.

Starring Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi, Miracle Workers is the channel’s major launch show, and airs on 27 January.

It follows Craig (Daniel Radcliffe) and Eliza (Geraldine Viswanathan), low-level angels who are trying to convince their jaded boss, God (Steve Buscemi), that the world is not about to end.

Craig and Eliza are responsible for handling all of humanity's prayers and must persuade God to help them save humankind and answer the most impossible prayer yet - to help two humans, Laura and Sam, fall in love.

The seven-episode limited series is based on Simon Rich’s book, ‘What’s in God’s Name’ and makes the case that humans are worth saving, while turning our perceptions of heaven upside down.

Mrs Fletcher first aired in the US in October 2019, and centres around a divorced woman who decides to jumpstart her love life by adopting a new persona, discovering new and unexpected possibilities along the way. It is expected to air on Sky Comedy in February 2020.

The Righteous Gemstones, starting on 5 February, is a US comedy television series created by Danny McBride, which first premiered in August 2019, on HBO.

This series follows a famous, but dysfunctional family of televangelists, starring Danny McBride as Jesse Gemstone, alongside John Goodman, Edi Patterson, Adam DeVine, Tony Cavalero, Cassidy Freeman and Skyler Gisondo.
