Away day in FA Cup for Morpeth Town

Morpeth Town have been drawn away from home in the opening round of this season’s FA Cup.

In extra preliminary round the Highway Men travel to North East Counties League side Garforth Town on Saturday, August 15.

The victors will then travel to either Nelson of the North West Counties League or fellow Northern League side Newton Wycliffe.

In the FA Vase, Morpeth’s opponents in the first qualifying round on Saturday, September 5, will be North West Counties League side Padiham, who were relegated from Evo-Stick League North last season.

This game will be played at Craik Park.

The winners will then be away to either Alnwick Town or Billingham Synthonia on Saturday, September 20.
