Bedlington Market Tavern made it two wins out of two in the Morpeth Sunday League after recording an 8-0 victory over Bedlington FC.
On target were Josh Laverick (2), Calum Donohoe (2), Daniel Dargue (2), Glenn Reardon and the eighth was an own goal by defender Adam Barker.
Amble Tavern got their campaign off to a strong start with a convincing 11-0 win against Morpeth Conservative.
Louis Shanks and Josh Hay both helped themselves to hat-tricks. The remaining five goals were each scored by different players with Sean Black, Liam Brooks, Matty Graham, Reece Nicholson and Ryan Douglas, from the halfway line, all getting on the scoresheet.
HMP Northumberland and Ashington RAOB played out a hard fought 2-2 draw.
Daniel Lay got a brace for HMP and was also man of the match for them. Scoring for The Buffs were Michael Angus and Lee Scott, and their man of the match was Kieran Robson.
Finally Stobswood ran out 5-3 winners over Morpeth Shambles with a double from Gary McDonald and solitary strikes from Jack Henderson, Jake Baker and Robert Baker. Shambles scorers were Andrew Barker, Michael Bray and Jordan Dodds.
