Blyth Town zeroed in on the title silverware by crashing in double figures and condemning Hebburn Reyrolle to the drop.

Stephen Howes hit three, Scott Jasper four and the others were netted by Ian Lee, Jonathon Mann (two) and Dan Beresford. Dominic Solomon netted a consolation.

Wallington won a thriller at second-placed North Shields Athletic with goals from John Paxton (two), Ben Fenwick, Tom Truscott and Daniel Thompson - Daniel Capewell, Sean Millington, Mason Stephenson and Karl Morrison scored at the other end in an exciting clash.

Whickham SC had Zac Atkinson and Eddie Keenan on the scoresheet as they beat Carlisle City, who had Kyle Armstrong on target, and a solitary Colin White strike handed Killingworth Station the points against Walker Central.

Kevin Westphal and Scott Lowery were Shankhouse’s secondd half hit-men at Rutherford and although an Alex Benjamin penalty put Seaton Delaval in front at Ashington Colliers, Keiran Robson beat the keeper to level things up.

Percy Main took a step towards the Division One title as they came from behind to beat rivals AFC Newbiggin.

John Bone’s first half header put the Seasiders in charge but second half strikes from Ryan McKee, Joe Betts and Stewart Wright gave the Villagers the points.

Hexham would have been title contenders if their late form had been apparent earlier in the season – a Kurtis Harvey double seeing off Wallsend Boys’ Club, who had led through Shaun Cox’s strike.

NFA Minor Cup Finalists Newcastle Uni are also finding top gear and Alex Ames hit four as they left Wooler rooted to the foot of the table. Scott Huntley, Oliver Walker and Allan Olumese hit the others – Kyle Jeffrey replying.

Tony Smith levelled up an early own goal to earn Birtley Saint Josephs a point against Cullercoats and although Tommy Bainbridge put Chemfica ahead from the penalty spot at Bohemians, Ben Asquith grabbed a late equaliser.

Jordan Watson hit two and Matty Middleton and Liam cairns got the others in New Fordley’s victory over Bedlington Terriers Reserves, with Andy Welsh netting a consolation, and Matthew Lavender and Daniel Hislop were on the scoresheet for Blyth Isabella in their vital win over Ponteland United, whose scorer was Wayne Dunn.

Gateshead Leam Rangers striker James Fenwick’s hot form continued with a double at West Allotment Celtic A – but he was overshadowed by team-mate Liam Barnett, who got three. Ryan Gibson hit the opener with Ridi Muteba netting a late consolation.

Longbenton moved into third place and put a dent in Shilbottle CW’s title hopes with goals from Chris Sword (two), Connor Graham and David Short. Josh Hay and Brad McLelland replied for the Colliers.

Seaton Burn trailed to Mitchell Ramsey’s opener for local rivals Wideopen but hit back with doubles from Stuart Taylor and Ryan Spragg and although Matthew Smith shot Forest Hall ahead at Willington Quay Saints, they were reduced to ten men and goals from Mark Henderson and a late Glen Johnson effort turned the game around.

Steve Matthews struck twice and Andrew Davidson added the other as Grainger Park got back on track at High Howdon, who pulled one back through Dean Blacklock, while Andrew Smith’s double and a Cameron Fyvie strike gave Whitburn Athletic the points at Lindisfarne Custom Planet. Jonny Storey netted for the hosts.

Martin Kelly’s opener for Cramlington United was cancelled out by a David Jeffers shot for Swalwell.
