Teams progress to quarter-finals of NFA Minor Cup
It was the last 16 in the NFA Minor Cup at the weekend and as a result the following teams have qualified for the quarter-finals:
Spittal Rovers, Newcastle East End, Newcastle Independent, Newcastle University A, Hexham, North Shields Community Christians, West Jesmond and Blyth Rangers.

Newsham and New Delaval went down at home by the odd goal in five against Station Lounge Ashington in the Blyth & Wansbeck Sunday League. David Lillico and Regan Pegg scored for Newsham with Matty Nelson, Ben Middleton and Conner Willis netting for the Station.
West Allotment drew 0-0 with Bedlington Social Club.
Bedlington Bank Top won 4-2 at home against Blyth Rangers.
In a Bedlington derby Breakers went down 6-0 against the Station SC whilst Bubbles Ashington and Ellington played out a 1-1 draw. Jordan Hancock scored for Bubbles and Byren Atkinson replied for the Plough.
